Thai Airways to buy 21 instead of 38 new aircraft in second phase

Thai Airways reduced to buy aircraft from 38 to 21 planes which was originally planned to deliver from 2018-2022. This decision has taken because of disappointing performance in the first half of this year. Thailand's Cabinet was originally planned to spend about US$14.5 billion for flag carriers to buy 75 new planes.However, Thai Airways has already decided to start receiving 37 new planes from 2017.

Malaysia Airlines is going to expand its network after Dubai to two more new stations. The carrier will start daily flights between Kuala Lumpur and Kochi beginning from 1 September 2013.

Then, they will also reinstate flights between Kuala Lumpur and Darwin in every 5 days a week which will be effective from 1 November 2013. The carrier is planning to use B737-800 to both destination.

Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways bought India’s Jet Airways at 24 percent stake in for $379m last month.Etihad Airway will provide finance the Jet Airways to buy 100+ planes at next month’s Paris Air Show.

 According to Sydney-based consultancy firm CAPA Centre for Aviation, Jet Airways will soon order 50 737 max and about ten 777-300ER from Boeing and 50 A320neos from Airbus. Bloomberg news agency estimated the total value of the transaction would be around $12bn.

Malindo Air will start international route from Dhaka,Bangladesh.

Malindo Air is one of the Malaysian base airlines. They have about 4 Boeing 737-900ER and 2 ATR 72-600. Malindo Air will soon start its first international destination to Dhaka, Bangladesh. They will operate with new generation 737-900ER aircraft.

 They will introduce inflight entertainment and local base food with Bangladeshi cabin crew. They will focus on competitively low fares, on-time flights and excellent customer service to Bangladeshi travelers.

It has been confirmed that they will start daily flights from 01SEP13 between Dhaka and Kuala Lump. They are presently offering Business Class and Economy Class seats.

RAK Airways plan to buy 10 more Aircrafts

RAK Airways is one of the best UAE base airlines. This airline has been currently operating with three Aircraft to eleven destination.

 They are now discussing with the giant aircraft manufactures such as Boeing, Airbus and Bombardier to order the new fleets. 


They wanted to make one of the biggest carriers in the Middle East. So,they are planning for Boeing B737-800, Airbus A320, and Brand New C Series jet from Bombardier. 

RAK are currently operating with two Airbus A320-200 and one mid-size Boeing. Their destinations are Bangladesh (Dhaka), Bangladesh (Chittagong), Egypt, Jordan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Qatar and Saudia Arabia.
